Annie O’Donnell as Carla Evers
A native Philadelphian, Annie O'Donnell won Best Lead Actress for Ann, at the Portsmouth England International Film Festival, and Best Supporting Actress for The Recordist, at the Malibu International Film Festival.
She was discovered by John Cassavetes for his film, Husbands, followed soon after by Milos Forman's Cannes winner, Taking Off. Some of her subsequent films included the Oscar Winning The Artist, Baby Boom, Clint Eastwood's Heartbreak Ridge and Jersey Boys, Transformers:Dark of the Moon, Hot Shots, The Good Girl, and the cult favorite, Saturday the 14th.
Highlights of her TV career include several recurring roles: June Wheeler on Night Court, Big Love, The Dukes of Hazzard, and Days of Our Lives. She played Dr. Gloria Zindell in her 22 episode series regular role on The Life and Times of Eddie Roberts...or L.A.T.E.R.
Some of her TV Movie roles included playing Diana Ross' friend in Out of Darkness and Jason Robards' neighbor in Journey.
Her way over 100 TV/Film roles also included guest starring on N.C.I.S., Parks and Recreation, Desperate Housewives, N.Y.P.D. Blue, The Big Bang Theory, Mama's Family, Married...With Children, Star Trek:Deep Space 9, The X-Files, Highway to Heaven, Boomtown, and Freddy's Nightmares.
On stage, she was thrilled to do The Rivals with Imogene Coca and Ray Walston, Merton of the Movies with Richard Thomas, Prairie Avenue with Ed Harris and Amy Madigan, and Picnic with Nick Nolte, and won a Drama-Logue Award for The Shadow Box. A year long national/international tour of Godspell ended In Los Angeles, and she decided to stay.
